About
Dear reader,
My name is Swarangi Potdar and is it so nice to meet you! I am a 19-year-old artist based in Dallas, Texas. Art is limitless, and that is the reason I value art. It gives me the ability to showcase self-expression, the ability to explore my thinking without any limitations. My passion for art has shaped me greatly and due to this great passion and hard work, I am able to be in the position I am now. I learned to be aware of my surroundings and in doing so I have found a great love for helping others through my work. For instance, I have worked with several organizations like The Memory Project and The Coppell Assistance League that involve the betterment of children. With great support from my friends and family, I have learned to make every piece of work with care and dedication. Every work has a different story, one that I create and one that you all create. I truly believe that art has a way of changing lives. I am so grateful to have you stop by. If you have any questions please feel free to ask!

Potdar’s passion to help visible through Coppell home tour fundraiser
“It is important for young artists to use their art to help out the community because it’s important to gain various experiences and observe the world for what it is in order to be a good artist,” Potdar said.
Illustrating her future
“Like any other kid, my love for art first started when I was drawing on walls,” Potdar said. “Now, everything about art just draws me in. The most important aspect is self expression – being able to show ideas and concepts in my own way without having any limitations.”
Cry Havoc Theater Company - Personal Essay
"I interviewed an artistic director, an artistic associate, and a visual artist. I’m going to be honest: I only knew what one of the three did. After conducting these interviews, I learned so much of what goes on behind the scenes and how even the smallest roles have a great impact on the company and the product."
